Grit, determination, and athleticism brought Desmond Tisdol to Auburn. After posting highlight reel plays from both sides of the ball in high school, Tisdol was named all-state, defensive player of the year, and the number 6 rated LB in the nation. He lettered in varsity basketball (18 ppg) and slashed .340 as baseball hitter.
Fast forward to now and Tisdol’s ability to read the field and break down plays jumps off the screen. His instincts, lateral movement, and quick burst allow him to drop back in coverage or explode the gaps to disrupt the backfield. Hard work, perseverance, and heart has Des clawing his way up the depth chart to earn play time in every game this season. The best is yet to come. This is merely his genesis.
